In the middle of October, under a clear blue sky and warm sun rays, together with friends we gathered to harvest olives.
Olive harvesting at a Farm House Bubičić is done by hand, with attention and care for each fruit. It is usually done in late autumn, when the olives reach optimal maturity. The whole family and friends participate in the harvest, which makes this activity even more enjoyable and fun. The whole day is spent in the olive grove, from early morning until evening.
Olive harvesting at a Farm House Bubičić is more than simple fruit picking. It is a tradition, socializing and celebrating nature. With the effort and love of the family, olive oil of exceptional quality and taste is created, which hides the magic of Istria.
This year’s harvest was plentiful and we achieved a satisfactory yield.
