NEWS
Quality assurance
OPG Bubičić olive oil belongs to the extra virgin olive oils of exceptional quality, and this is confirmed by the awards, certificates and certificates of the educations we attend. We especially highlight the gold medal from the manifestation of the quality of olive oil in Krasica near Buje in Istria, Vodice in Dalmatia and Tara near Poreč in Istria. Every year, our oil entered the top 20 best olive oils.
We prove the quality every year with a certificate of chemical analysis of the oil, which is also available on these pages.
Natural organic production
The olive grove has mostly olives of the Carbonaca variety, and a few trees of other varieties for better pollination and ecological protection from pests.
Natural
It is about growing according to strictly natural principles without additional growth and development enhancers that are not natural for olives. The olive tree is a Mediterranean tree that is used to harsh conditions.
Biodiversity
The olive grove is maintained in a biodiverse environment so that there is a lawn at the base, and other crops on the plot: radicchio, garlic, vines, figs, hazelnuts, reeds, and there are also acacia and oak trees.
Without spraying
Biodiversity allows olives to tolerate pests and diseases very well.
No irrigation
Underneath the olive trees is a lawn, so the soil is mulched to ensure soil moisture in the summer. Looseness is also achieved by raking the soil occasionally.
No fertilizer
The olive grove is not fertilized with mineral fertilizers, and organic fertilizer (manure) is applied rarely.
