Winter Fertilization of Our Olive Grove – A Key to a Healthy and Abundant Harvest 🌿🌱

This Tuesday, we completed the winter fertilization of our olive grove at OPG Bubičić, a crucial step in ensuring healthy growth and high-quality yields. To achieve the best results, we used a 50/50 combination of two fertilizers:

✔ Plantella specialized fertilizer for olives (pelletized)
✔ Vukoil neem cake fertilizer

Healthy Olive Trees Thanks to Autumn Fertilization

We are already seeing the positive effects of last year’s autumn fertilization, when we used neem cake. The olive trees have withstood the winter extremely well, with strong, fertile leaves, and we can already notice new, light-green leaves emerging. This confirms that the trees are healthy and vital, ready for the upcoming growing season.

Why This Fertilizer Combination?

✔ Plantella pellets provide essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which strengthen the trees and enhance their resistance to diseases.
✔ Neem cake acts as a natural pest repellent and improves soil quality, stimulating microbial activity and healthy root growth.

We applied the fertilizer under the tree canopies to ensure optimal nutrient uptake during winter dormancy and spring awakening.
